I am excited about a new group we’ve developed where we explore different surface designs.  I asked my grandson to develop a means of sharing my progress with other members of the group, and here it is!!  Great having grandchildren out of diapers!!!

I drew an image on paper of a dragonfly photo I had taken and used disperse dyes to color the dragonfly.  I then tried closer quilting than I usually do for larger quilts, and practiced circles which I love.

We did a weaving project,and I used a photo of my baby robins, to “weave” a nest. Since it was 3 dimensional, I used silk leaves from a purchased flower, rather than applique.
